  • 8:00am - Venue / Property Opens
  • Bridal Party Meets Bride/Groom
  • Breakfast/Snacks Delivered
  • Hair & Makeup Begins - Allow ample time
  • Hair & Makeup Complete
  • Decorating Begins - Generally, upon arrival
  • Lunch/Snacks Delivered
  • Photographer Arrives - Confirm time week of wedding
  • Videographer Arrives - Confirm time week of wedding
  • Florist Arrives - Confirm time week of wedding
  • DJ Arrives - Confirm time week of wedding
  • Caterer Arrives - Confirm time week of wedding
  • Baker Arrives - Confirm time week of wedding - Confirm time week of wedding and that plates, forks, and napkins are provided (Caterers typically do not provide unless they also make the cakes / sweets.)
  • Put on Suit/Dress
  • First Look Photo with Mom/Dad
  • First Look Photo with Couple - This is recommended**
  • First Look Photo with Others
  • Bridal Party Photos
  • Officiant Arrives - At least 30 minutes prior to ceremony
  • Bridal Party Lines Up - 5 to 10 minutes prior to ceremony
  • Ceremony Begins - Generally, plan for 20-30 minutes
  • Ceremony Ends
  • Ho devours Hour or Guest to be Seated and Dismissed for Dinner by DJ - At conclusion of ceremony. Confirm who will provide plates, napkins, cutlery, and drinks
  • Family & Couple Photos (Couple to have a detailed listing) - Generally, plan for 30 to 45 minutes
  • Wedding Party Announced - Generally, one hour to one and half hour after Ceremony
  • First Dance of Couple
  • Dance of Bride and Dad
  • Dance of Groom and Mother
  • Buffet Opens (if dinner is not served before or Cake Cutting (if dinner was served)
  • Toasts
  • Cake Cutting (if couple elected ho devours hour)
  • Dance Floor Opens to All
  • Gifts are Packed into Vehicle - Remember you will need room!
  • Music Concluded
  • Pay Final Bills / Distribute Gratuities
  • Remove Personal Items from Farmhouse, Lodge, and Venue
  • Venue / Property Closed - 11:00 p.m.


**Choosing NOT to see each other prior to the wedding has a dramatic impact on your timeline, and honestly the number of photos you have time to take or the amount of time your guests are waiting while you take photos. We support your decision, but if you are getting married October - March, PLEASE make sure you take sunset into account prior to setting your timeline. Also, the more details on the listing of photos, the better off for the Couple, Wedding Party, Family, and Photographer.
